Classes can be private or can include other students. Resume and portfolio help is also included. Astute Artistry provides supplies for class unless otherwise instructed.
The class focus is to prepare students to work professionally in the makeup field. Mastering application techniques for bridal, smoky, natural, couture and fantasy looks.
Studying undertones, individual/full lash applications. Beginning of airbrushing. Students will have a resume and portfolio built by the last day of class.
A Professional Photo Shoot is included.
Classes are once a week for 8 weeks. You have the option of 12PM-3PM or 5PM-8PM for class times. Date for class will be scheduled upon enrollment. This applies to all classes.
The class focus is to prepare students to work professionally in the makeup field. Mastering application techniques for bridal, smoky, natural and couture looks. Studying undertones, airbrushing, and maintenance. As well as individual and full lash applications.
Students will also master adornment of lashes, fantasy, avant-garde, couture and theatrical makeup.
Each student is expected to become experts in effects painting, anatomy, injury makeup, character design, latex work, fake blood, prosthetic application, foam latex, three dimensional work and blending techniques.
Students will also be required to master body airbrushing, as well as silicone, rubber and foam applications. Students will have help with resume and portfolio building.
